Hymel Hunt flipped the Rabbitohs defence into attack as he picked up a Shaun Johnson grubber and ran it over 80 metres to score in front of his family and friends in Auckland.
The Warriors came out firing in the second half and scored early through Kata and were looking to stage a comeback until Hymel Hunt intervend in the 51st minute.
Latching on to an attacking grubber from Warriors Halfback Sean Johnson, Hunt produced a counterattacking run which caught the Warriors off guard.
Stepping and palming off Warriors players Hymel set himself free and ran over 80 metres to score and keep the Rabbitohs in control.
