The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their 21-man squad for their Round 13 fixture against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at ANZ Stadium this Friday 1 June at 7.50pm.
Rabbitohs Head Coach Anthony Seibold has been forced to make a number of changes for this top-four clash due to the Club's State of Origin representation. Adam Doueihi will start at fullback this Friday night with Hymel Hunt and Braidon Burns being named in the centres. Sam Burgess will start in the second row with Cameron Murray starting at lock, and Robbie Farah will start at hooker. Tyrell Fuimaono has been named in the 17 on the interchange bench.
This Friday is the Rabbitohs' Junior Appreciation Round with the Grand Final of the Bob McCarthy Cup to be played as the curtain-raiser to the NRL game with kick off scheduled for 6.20pm. The Bob McCarthy Cup is a primary school, seven-a-side competition with the Grand Final to be played between St Therese Mascot A and St Therese Mascot B. The Bob McCarthy Cup champions will go on to represent South Sydney at the statewide Legends Shield later in the year.
There will also be a pre-game march past of over 1000 kids from junior Rugby League clubs in the South Sydney and North Sydney districts, schools from the Sydney region and Rabbitohs' Champions groups.
Rabbitohs Members and supporters can also take advantage of the 'Fans First' initiatives at ANZ Stadium on Friday night including pre-purchased general admission adult tickets for just $20 with the option to bring up to four kids under 12 in for free, pre-purchased family passes for just $40, rail travel to and from Olympic Park included in all Rabbitohs Memberships and tickets, as well as $2.50 sausage rolls and $9.95 kids meal deals.
Gates open at 6.10pm with the Bob McCarthy Cup Grand Final to kick off at 6.20pm and the NRL fixture at 7.50pm.
