Liam Knight will miss the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ next two games after failing to get his grade two dangerous contact charge downgraded at the NRL Judiciary tonight (Tuesday).
Knight entered a guilty plea after being charged for a tackle on Dragons prop James Graham in the 28th minute of the Rabbitohs 34-18 round two victory, looking to dispute the grading, however the NRL judiciary has found him guilty of the offence.
The charge adds 200 points to Knight's record, resulting in a two-game ban.
Knight will miss the Round 3 match against the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday 31 March at ANZ Stadium as well as the Round 4 match against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles on Saturday April 6 at Lottoland.
He will be available for the home match against the New Zealand Warriors at Sunshine Coast Stadium in Round 5.
