Souths Juniors teams all fell to losses over the weekend with Under 16s and Under 18s boys losing to the Central Coast Roosters and the Under 18s girls going down to the Newcastle Knights.
UNE Harold Mathews Cup
In the Under 16s, the boys couldn’t get going at Morry Breen Oval, losing 24-10 to the Roosters. Despite the defeat, the Harold Mathews side still has the chance to make it into the top eight with a win next week but will need other results to go their way in their push for finals footy.

The Under 18s were also unable to topple the Central Coast Roosters, losing 36-14. The young Red and Green troops will not be able to make the top eight this year but will look to finish the season with a bang against the Balmain Tigers this weekend.

The Tarsha Gale girls were beaten by the Newcastle Knights 46-12 and although they have locked up a top-eight spot, they will want to get the confidence back next week with a win against the Wests Tigers before heading into the finals.
