Rabbitohs forward Thomas Burgess has been charged with grade one tripping by the Match Review Committee following Sunday afternoon's clash with the Panthers.
The base penalty for this charge is $1,500. Burgess has one prior non-similiar offences in the last two years which results in a 20% loading on the charge.
If Burgess takes the early guilty plea he will be fined $1,350. If he fights the charge and loses he will be fined $1,800. If he fights the charge and wins he will not be fined.
