South Sydney Rabbitohs forwards Sam and Thomas Burgess have both been charged following the round 13 match against the Newcastle Knights.
Thomas Burgess has been charged with a Grade 1 striking charge which carries a base penalty of 200 points and a two-match suspension. Thomas has no loading and can enter an early guilty plea which carries a charge of 150 points and a one-match suspension.
Sam Burgess has received a grade 1 contrary conduct charge which carries a base penalty of a $1500 fine. An early guilty plea carries a $1350 fine. Sam will not miss any playing time due to suspension.
Both Thomas and Sam have entered an early guilty plea for their charges.
Knights forward Daniel Saifiti has also received a grade 1 contrary conduct charge which carries a base penalty of a $1500 fine. An early guilty plea carries a $1150 fine. He will not miss any playing time due to suspension.
