Jason Clark admits that it has been a tough time for all those involved with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Nevertheless the team is determined and focused on beating the Melbourne Storm this weekend to make the fans and members proud during this hard time.
Jason Clark, a proud South Sydney Rabbitohs junior and local resident who has played 128 NRL games for the Rabbitohs, understands that this has been a tough year. However, he is eager to stick by his teammates for the challenges facing them.
“I’ve been here since a junior, it’s the club where I grew up, and I only live down Botany Road. So I’d love to stay,” said the Rabbitohs’ work horse.
“Losing the games we have, it’s never easy.
“I know it hasn’t been great for our fans and our members. It’s hard for them to keep supporting us the way it is.”
Clark is happy with the response from his teammates and the Club to our recent run of results, citing the strength of a unified Red & Green squad to step up for Saturday’s clash with the Storm.
“The benefits of being in a team sport is that we can stick together,” he explained.
This is exactly what the South Sydney Rabbitohs intend to do for their Members and fans.
“We just want to do them right and do them proud, and go out and win this week.”
