Tyrell Fuimaono spoke to the media for the first time since making his debut, discussing his aim to better himself each week and maintain his position in the team.
“I’m always looking to build, put in a big week of training and try to better myself each week,” said Fuimaono.
“I think that’s the goal for everyone really to keep getting better as a player.”
Stepping up into first grade and now claiming his second NRL cap, Fuimaono explains the experience as a massive learning curve.
“It’s a massive learning curve for me, adapting to the subtle changes.
“It is a massive step. I’m doing my best to maintain the feel for it all and hopefully gradually get better and maintain my position here.”
With only a short turn around into Friday night’s game against the Parramatta Eels, Fuimaono is confident shorter week won’t affect their preparation.
“I don’t think the five day turn around will really affect us.
“We’ll do our best to recover to tick every box so we should be fine.”
