Viliame Kikau
- Projected Return: Round 1 v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
- Injury: Concussion
Viliame Kikau brought off the field with a Category 1 concussion. Who will go through NRL return-to-play protocols and will be available for Round 1.
Andrew Davey
- Projected Return: Round 1 v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
- Injury: Concussion
Andrew Davey suffered a head knock during the second half of the club's NRL Pre-season Challenge trial against the Sharks. He was brought off the field with symptoms of concussion and did not return to play. Davey will follow NRL return-to-play protocols and will be fit for selection leading into round 1.
Tevita Pangai Junior
- Projected Return: Round 4 v New Zealand Warriors/Round 5 v North Queensland Cowboys
- Injury: Calf Tendon Strain
Tevita Pangai Junior suffered a calf strain during a field training session. His progression will be monitored by club medical staff as he returns to on-field running within the next fortnight.
Chris Patolo
- Projected Return: Round 1 v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles/ Round 2 v Melbourne Storm
- Injury: Bone Stress Reaction
Chris Patolo experienced bone stress in his left knee during pre-season training. The second rower has returned to on-field running and will slowly be re-introduced into full-team training.
Declan Casey
- Projected Return: Round 1 v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
- Injury: Shoulder Reconstruction
The Bulldog's back underwent post-season surgery in October for a shoulder injury picked up during the 2022 Premiership Season. Declan has progressed well through his rehabilitation and has returned to unrestricted team training. The centre will be available for selection for Round 1 against the Sea Eagles.
Sam Hughes
- Projected Return: Round 4 v New Zealand Warriors
- Injury: Lumbar Disc Surgery
The Canterbury-Bankstown forward underwent surgery in September to treat a lower back injury. He has begun on-field running and has been reintroduced into non-contact team training.
Bailey Biondi-Odo
- Projected Return: Round 21 v Penrith Panthers
- Injury: ACL Reconstruction
Bailey Biondi-Odo suffered an ACL injury in last season's 2022 NSW Cup Elimination Final against the Parramatta Eels in September. Bailey is progressing well and has commenced on-field running. He is projected to make a successful return in July.
