Rabbitohs captain Greg Inglis has been named in Coach Mal Meninga’s 19-man Australian Kangaroos squad that will take on the New Zealand Kiwis in a key Four Nations Test match this Sunday morning (AEDST) at Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
Inglis is likely to partner up with rookie Valentine Holmes on the left flank for Australia.
Coach Mal Meninga said it is good to be welcoming back a number of players into squad, including Inglis who was rested for last weekend’s Test match against Scotland.
“Having Greg back in the team pays the respect that the Kiwis deserve,” Coach Meninga said.
“Obviously these guys are some of our better players.
“We’ve got Matt Gillett and Boyd Cordner back as well.
“It’s a big game for us so we have to make sure that we play really well and obviously winning the game would be a bonus for us and it puts us in pretty good stead to make the Final.”
