Settling on the Eastern Suburbs in Sydney, Brett Greinke is ready to make an impact in 2017 after his NRL debut was put on hold this year.
Greinke joined the Rabbitohs in May from the Brisbane Broncos but as the second tier salary cap had been reached, he did not get an opportunity to run on for the Red and Green.
“I didn’t get the chance to debut and Madge let me know about that and it’s just something that happened,” said Greinke.
“I’m still here next year and I’m looking for a really good preseason and I can’t wait to rip in.”
Regularly appearing in the North Sydney Bears side, Greinke is pleased with the Club and his performances in the NSW Cup under the leadership of Bears Head Coach, Ben Gardiner.
“It’s a strong club with a really strong history,
“Ben Gardiner was our coach who was an assistant here at the Rabbitohs and he looked after me really well and was really focused on my personal development so I’m really looking forward to taking that in to next year.”
“I’m just going to start my training as soon as possible and get into preseason feeling fit and strong.”
