Rabbitohs leader Sam Burgess says the Club is in heading in the right direction despite the poor on field results over the past two months.
Burgess says that the plan ahead is clear within the Club and he’s confident that things will turn around on field, sooner rather than later.
“I think the Club’s going in a great direction,” Burgess said on Thursday when speaking to media.
“(General Manager of Football) Shane Richardson is back in charge of a lot of things, our leadership group is really stepping up and taking a lot more responsibility for what’s going on here at the Club, and I think to be successful then that’s what’s needed, that’s what we had in previous years.
“We’re getting back on track. I guess it’s a shame that it’s taking us so long, taken us a lot of time during the year to get to this point.
“I can assure you we’ll give our fans and the people watching the game something to be a bit happier at the back end of the year and we’ll address areas where we’ve not been great.”
