Rabbitohs 2020 recruit, Edene Gebbie, has been selected in the Papua New Guinea 9s World Cup squad.
Gebbie has had a stellar season for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the QLD Intrust Super Cup this year, scoring 19 tries in 22 games.
This form saw him represent his country against Samoa, in the annual Pacific Test back in June.
He is an exciting prospect with explosive footwork - a threat from anywhere on the field, which makes the 9s format a perfect fit for the flying Fullback.
The two-day tournament will take place at Bankwest Stadium on Friday October 18 and Saturday October 19, with 12 nations competing for international glory! The PNG Kumuls 9s team in alphabetical order is:
