Warriors Hooker Nathaniel Roache has been ruled out of Friday's clash at ANZ Stadium, with former Souths Hooker Issac Luke in line to make his first appearance against the Rabbitohs since leaving at the end of 2015.
21-year old Nathanial Roache went down with a leg injury during the Warrior's field session ahead of departing for Sydney this afternoon. The full extent of the injury is yet to be confirmed.
Jazz Tevaga has now been named at hooker in the Warriors' provisional 21-man squad but Issac Luke, who is currently named on the bench, is a chance of taking the starting spot against us come game day.
For Luke, it will be the first time he takes the field against the Rabbitohs and the representative hooker is excited to reunite with the Souths Member base and his old teammates.
"We're playing my old team, South Sydney Rabbitohs, so I'm really looking forward to this game," said Luke.
"I didn't get to play them last year so it's a great opportunity to get to see the fans and see some of the old boys."
