Sam Burgess' big performance on Sunday against the Knights was only matched by his spectacular off-field display as he showed great kindness to mingle with a wheelchair bound Knights supporter and leave her with his own signed playing shirt as a memento of their encounter.
Burgess spent over 10 minutes with his fellow Rabbitohs interacting with the crowd of Rabbitohs and Knights supporters after a tough and fiery clash against the Newcastle Knights.
After noticing the Knights supporter waiting for Jarrod Mullen Burgess spent time chatting to her before returning to the sheds.
At the end of their interaction Sam, with the help of a Rabbitohs trainer, gave her the Jersey off his back and left the Knights fan with a kiss on the cheek and a memory she'll cherish forever.
