The Brisbane Broncos have announced their team to take on the Rabbitohs this Friday night at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Coming off a dominant 53-0 demolition of the Newcastle Knights, Broncos mentor Wayne Bennett, has unsurprisingly opted for a settled line-up for his ladder-leading outfit.
Up front, the Broncos will be powered by prop forwards Josh McGuire and Adam Blair, with a formidable back-row consisting of Alex Glenn, Matt Gillett, and Corey Parker making up the remainder of the scrum.
The halves-pairing of Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford meanwhile will provide creativity that will feed the likes of James Roberts, Jack Reed, Jordan Kahu, Corey Oates and Darius Boyd outside of them.
For the Rabbitohs, Head Coach Michael Maguire, has named the same line-up to Round 7, but hinted that the line-up may see changes ahead of Friday night’s kick-off in his weekly insights.
“I’m looking at performance,” said Maguire.
“We’ll have a look at the team as we move through the week, but there’s a lot of areas of our game that we need to continually work hard at.
“The boys understand where we’re at and we need to make sure we’re doing all the little one per cent things that make great Rugby League teams.
“The boys are very capable – it’s just about applying themselves for every moment of the game.”
Halfback, Adam Reynolds meanwhile will play his 100th NRL and Rabbitohs game when he runs out at Suncorp Stadium on Friday.
