The South Sydney Rabbitohs have a number of blockbuster home games in the 2017 NRL Draw announced today by the NRL.
Some highlights within the NRL Draw include:
- A huge season opener at home at ANZ Stadium against the Wests Tigers in Friday night football;
- The arch rivalry will continue against the Sydney Roosters in round four at ANZ Stadium on a Thursday night;
- The massive Good Friday reciprocal rights ANZ Stadium match up against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in round seven at the family-friendly time of 4pm;
- An ANZAC weekend match against the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium;
- A family-friendly 6pm Friday game against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in round nine at Allianz Stadium;
- A Friday night blockbuster against the Parramatta Eels at home at ANZ Stadium in round 12; and
- A family-friendly Sunday afternoon clash with the Penrith Panthers in round 17 at ANZ Stadium.
Ticketed Members who have bought full season Memberships will have access to 14 games in Sydney in 2017 including:
- Nine home games at ANZ Stadium;
- One home game at Allianz Stadium;
- The Charity Shield match against the St George Illawarra Dragons in February; and
- Three reciprocal rights matches against the Bulldogs, Tigers and Eels which will all be played at ANZ Stadium.
Our Queensland Ticketed Members will have the choice of attending two games from:
- The round 19 blockbuster Sunday afternoon home game against the North Queensland Cowboys at Barlow Park in Cairns;
- The round five clash with the Cowboys at 1300 SMILES Stadium in Townsville; and
- The round 14 fixture against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
The Rabbitohs will again travel west to nib Stadium in Perth, this time taking on the Melbourne Storm in round 11 on a Sunday afternoon in May.
There is no Monday night football anymore and the Rabbitohs have only drawn one Thursday night game and one Friday 6pm game in the first 20 rounds.
