All 13 NYC Tries From Round 24

The Young Rabbitohs set a Club Under 20s record on the weekend with a 68-10 thrashing of the New Zealand Warriors at Redfern Oval.

Playing in front of a vocal home crowd, Ryan Carr's Rabbitohs ran in 13 tries, with four players grabbing doubles, and kicked 8 conversions in windy conditions to end Round 24 in 7th place.

"I was really proud of the boys with how we defended in that second half in particular," said NYC Head Coach Ryan Carr.

"We set a task upon ourselves to be clinical in that area of the game and I thought they did a really good job standing up on their try line and we completed a lot better in the second half which obviously helped out defence."

The team will head to the Sunshine Coast this weekend to play the Melbourne Storm's Under 20s. The Storm are coming off a 54-18 win over the Newcastle Knights but are currently 13th on the Holden Cup ladder.

"Competing really hard on every play, working hard on our defence through this week again is obviously top of mind for us," said Carr.

"It's just nice to be in the race. We've got to work hard, we've got a big game this week, they had a good win against Newcastle so they'll be hungry for the two points but we've just got to want it a little bit more."
