In 2006, the South Sydney Rabbitohs launched Souths Cares with a simple idea: if the community had fought to save the Club, the Club should give back.
Twenty years on, Souths Cares supports more than 35,000 people each year through programs focused on education, employment, health and wellbeing, with a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
To mark this milestone, we will be sharing 20 stories across the year that highlight the people, programs and moments that have shaped Souths Cares throughout this year.
Rather than telling the history as one long narrative, each story focuses on a key moment or voice, from the early days in Redfern classrooms to the programs changing lives today.
These stories will be told through a mix of articles, video and photography, depending on the best way to bring each story to life.
100% of profits from this product goes directly to Souths Cares.
