Tom Burgess Scores the Match Winning Try in Golden Point
Tom Burgess became a golden point hero in what is one of the craziest endings to a game that you will ever see! After Burgess looked to have spilled the ball over the line, Luke Brooks ran the length of the field to score what would have been the Tigers' match-winner. Only on replay was it shown that Burgess had in fact grounded the ball with his fingertips, completing one of the most memorable comebacks in South Sydney history.
Putting 54 points on the Roosters
Our boys crossed the line a whopping 9 times against the Roosters with Mark Nicholls, Latrell Mitchell and Jaxson Paulo all bagging doubles and Alex Johnston scoring a hat-trick! Whilst the game wasn't without controversy, there truly is no better feeling for a Rabbitohs fan than putting 50+ points on the Roosters.
