Mitchell to seek downgrade

Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell will head to the NRL Judiciary on Tuesday (20th April) night, seeking a downgrade to his grade two dangerous contact - Head/Neck charge arising from Saturday’s win over the Wests Tigers.

If he is successful in downgrading the charge to a grade one he will miss one match with five (5) carry-over points. If he is unsuccessful, he will miss the next four matches.

Mitchell has taken the early guilty plea for the grade one dangerous contact - other charge and the grade one contrary conduct charge which will see him fined $3,200 for the two incidents.
