A Souths Junior with the Coogee Wombats all Jason Clark ever wanted to do, even before he could walk, was play for South Sydney.
Clarky is one of the Rabbitohs originals; he was even on his father’s shoulders the day we marched the streets from Redfern to Town Hall. It’s safe to say he bleeds red and green!

Clark was the first player to Captain the Rabbitohs’ NYC side, a year young might we add! He went on to play 169 NRL games, all with the Rabbitohs, before making his way to the English Super League with the Warrington Wolves. A Career highlight for Clark was being a part of the 17 that won the 2014 Grand Final against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
What Clark brought to the Rabbitohs was exceptional standards, competing in every little thing he never gave up or shied away from his assignment. You always felt safe with Clarky defending next to you in the line and his versatility to play a number of positions in the forward pack gave the Rabbitohs a lot of depth.
