Player of the Game - Round 13

Hard to split them, in fact you could argue everybody's case, but we've gone with these two! It's up to you to vote now for your Player of the Game!

Thomas Burgess

The forward pack (including the interchange bench) were outstanding yet again last night and Thomas Burgess in particular provided a great platform for his backs.

Comparing to when we last came up against the Brisbane pack in round two, the Rabbitohs improved drastically. Seven of the South Sydney forwards clocked over 100 metres with big Thomas leading the way.

Burgess finished the game with 159 metres (56 post-contact metres), 21 tackles and a well-deserved try!

Adam Reynolds

Admittedly a shaky start by the little General but as the game ticked on, the composure and experience of Adam Reynolds shone through.

Reynolds had the ball on a strick; forcing line drop outs and turning around the big Brisbane pack. He even bagged a try of his own after pouncing on a Jaxson Paulo grubber!

What was impressive about Reyno last night was a stat that often goes unnoticed - He made 22 tackles without missing one. Rock solid by the skipper!
