Player of the Game - Round Five

Two vastly different position but two incredible performances nonetheless for both Latrell Mitchell and Thomas Burgess. It's time to vote for your Player of the Game!

LATRELL MITCHELL

Latrell has gone from strength-to-strength at the back and has built from last week's solid performance, to having one of the standout games of the season for any fullback in the competition.

While Latrell's running numbers were below average, he had a hand in just about every attacking play that resulted in points for the Rabbitohs. After crossing for the first try of the game, he also had a staggering three try assists, a couple of line break assists, one line break of his own and 11 tackle breaks for the game.

THOMAS BURGESS

Latrell Mitchell could only finesse the game off the back of the 'go-forward' Thomas Burgess provided. By bending the Titans defence back, he allowed Damien Cook to get out and generate meterage which got South Sydney in great field position to build pressure.

Burgess' numbers were outstanding. He ran for 213 metres from 19 runs, made 28 tackles with only two misses and had one of the quickest play-the-ball speeds across both teams.
