It's another mouth-watering Good Friday clash between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs this Friday!

Play Up Presents Round 6 South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

The South Sydney Rabbitohs and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs face off in the eighth Good Friday match played since 2012. 

The Rabbitohs Jersey Flegg side will also take on the Bulldogs in the pre-game.

While the Good Friday battle is a Bulldogs home game, Rabbitohs Ticketed Members have not been forgotten and will enjoy reciprocal member rights for this game.

Rabbitohs Reserved Members will access via Gate C/D with General Admission Seating available on Level 4 East (subject to capacity). 

Rabbitohs General Admission Members will access via Gate B with General Admission Seating available on Level 1 in Aisles 146 & 101.

Merchandise 

Rabbitohs Merchandise can be found at the Merchandise Huts at Gate 110 and 132. 

Travel

All tickets to the Bulldogs v Rabbitohs match include return travel on Sydney Trains services. For the right to travel, show your ticket or proof of purchase to Sydney Trains employee at the train station.

With the match coinciding with one of the Royal Easter Show’s busiest days, catching public transport is strongly recommended. Take advantage of the additional public transport services running to and from Sydney Olympic Park. Fans should also plan their journey and travel early to ensure they are in their seats before the match gets underway.

Trains

The closest station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park.

Patrons are strongly advised to take advantage of the additional and direct public transport services running to and from Olympic Park to avoid expected heavy congestion and traffic on roads in and around the Sydney Olympic Park precinct.

Getting there

Express trains from will run to Olympic Park:

·       Central to Olympic Park – every 10 minutes from 8:30am until 2:30pm, then every 8 minutes until 9:00pm, stopping at Redfern, Strathfield and Olympic Park.

·       Schofields to Olympic Park – every 30 minutes from 7:30am until midnight, stopping at Quakers Hill, Marayong, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Pendle Hill, Wentworthville, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe then Olympic Park. From 9:30pm services will also stop at Harris Park.

·       Blue Mountains Line – services to and from Central between 8am and 10:30pm will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.

·       Central Coast and Newcastle Line – an additional service will leave Newcastle Interchange at 7:02am, stopping at Broadmeadow, Cardiff, Fassifern, Morisset, Wyong, Tuggerah, Gosford, Woy Woy, Hornsby then Olympic Park. An additional service will leave Wyong at 09:01, stopping all stations to Berowra, Hornsby and Olympic Park.

·       You can catch a train to Lidcombe Station then head to Platform Zero for a direct service to Olympic Park.

 

Getting home

Additional late night services will run from Olympic Park, Lidcombe and Central to help you get home.

Olympic Park to Central – services will leave Olympic Park every 10 minutes from 9:00am until midnight, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central.
Olympic Park to Schofields – services will leave Olympic Park every 30 minutes from 8:45am until 12:20am stopping at Lidcombe, Auburn, Granville, Parramatta, Westmead, Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Toongabbie, Seven Hills, Blacktown, Marayong, Quakers Hill then Schofields.
·       Blue Mountains Line – services to and from Central between 8am and 10:30pm will make an additional stop at Lidcombe.

·       Central Coast and Newcastle Line – services to Gosford leaving Central at 18:46 and 19:46 (leaving Strathfield at 7:00pm and 8:00pm) will extend to Morisset.

 

The Lidcombe shuttle services to and from Olympic Park will run every 10 minutes from 5:30am until 2:00pm. Shuttle services will then be extended to run between Blacktown and Olympic Park every 10 minutes between 2:00pm and midnight and between Penrith and Olympic Park every 30 minutes between 2:00pm and midnight.

BUSES

The following Sydney Buses services run to Sydney Olympic Park:

·       Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.

·       Route 526 runs from the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf to Olympic Park.

PARKING

Car parks are expected to fill quickly, so ensure you pre-book your parking. Leave the car at home and take advantage of the additional and direct public transport services which are included in your event ticket.

For those planning to drive, pre-booking your parking is highly recommended. You can pre-book parking via:

Sydney Olympic Park Authority: Print your ticket at home by clicking here. Please note: pre-booked parking tickets cannot be booked on the day of the event.

Ticketek: Order your tickets by clicking here or calling 132 849. Please note: These can only be collected from Ticketek agencies.

Fans who do plan to drive should allow plenty of time to get to Sydney Olympic Park, find a parking space and get to their seat for the game.

 

TRAFFIC

·       If you decide to drive, the below routes are advised and can help minimise traffic issues:

o   From the NORTH: Through Top Ryde, take Victoria Rd and then Silverwater Rd and Holker Street to Sydney Olympic Park.

o   From the SOUTH: Turn onto Parramatta Road then Hill Road to Sydney Olympic Park.

o   From the EAST: Take Parramatta Road then Bernie Avenue or Hill Road. If you are driving along Victoria Road, consider taking Silverwater Road then Holker Street.

o   From the WEST: Turn onto Silverwater Road then Holker Street or turn onto Hill Road, and then to Sydney Olympic Park.
