With just two rounds remaining, the Souths Juniors will be looking to finish the 2018 season strong, as the boys take on the Central Coast Roosters and girls face up against the Newcastle Knights in crunch Round 8 matches.
After going down to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs last week, the Under 16s are jammed right at the back of a four-team logjam in ninth place on eight points. With finals footy right around the corner, the Harold Matthews side know that a win is crucial if they want to be competing for silverware in two weeks time.
Unfortunately for the Under 18s, they are out of the finals equation but will want to end their season on a high after a tricky year.
While the Under 18 girls have already locked up a spot inside the top eight in the Tarsha Gale competition but will want to give themselves the best possible chance of going the distance by securing a top four spot.
