South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership and community program with leading education and training provider Allara Learning.
Specialising in the hospitality, retail and business sectors, Allara Learning delivers tailored training solutions and nationally recognised qualifications to businesses and individuals across Australia.
The two organisations have teamed up to deliver the Strive for Success program, aimed at helping local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to gain hospitality skills and secure employment within the industry.
This training is subsidised by the NSW Government and will enable participants to study for a nationally recognised Certificate III in Hospitality (SIT30616).
Professional trainers from Allara Learning will deliver a mix of classroom-based and practical training, while a dedicated mentor from Souths Cares will support students in the completing their qualification and transitioning into paid employment.
With support from local businesses and industry partners, the program will also provide students with work experience, industry tours and guest talks to help prepare them for the workforce.

Allara Learning has delivered a number of pre-employment programs with organisations across the country, including the award winning North Queensland Toyota Cowboys ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ program in Townsville.
