Rabbitohs forward Jason Clark is expecting “big, exciting changes” as South Sydney step up their preparations ahead of the 2018 season.

The 10-year veteran may know his pre-season drills inside out but with change in the air under new football chief Anthony Seibold, Clark has a spring in his step as attention turns towards next year's campaign.

“Compared to previous years it’s quite a big change, what with staff and our players as well, so as much as the change has been big, it’s exciting as well,” Clark said.

“Obviously I’ve been with Seibs all through this year, and the 2017 season, so a lot will change there with him taking the Head Coach role. It’s still exciting and I’m looking forward to it.”

With a number of Rabbitohs away following their World Cup exertions, Clark is one of the seniors who has taken the young guns under his wing and the 28-year-old has passed on one key mantra.

Clark said: “Pre-season’s all about not giving up for now - no matter how much you’re hurting or struggling."
