Reggie Rabbit made a surprise visit to Ronald McDonald House yesterday with the support of Souths Cares.
Ronald McDonald House was established to provide accommodation for the families of seriously ill children while they undergo medical treatment at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Reggie spent some time with two young Rabbitohs fans- Jesse aged 9 and Brody aged 5. Both boys have shown tremendous strength and resilience during their time in hospital, making their families extremely proud.
The visit was organised by Rabbitohs long time member Charles Tees who volunteers at Ronald McDonald House. Charles spends two days a week at Ronald McDonald to help the children and families staying in the house.
Charles’ volunteering is a testament to the strong community values of the Rabbitohs Club and its members.
