Dave Tyrrell, Souths second longest serving member of the current Rabbitohs squad behind John Sutton, has taken to Instagram to thank the people of South Sydney for his 'unforgettable' time with the Club.
Since his debut in the Red and Green against the Penrith Panthers in Round 19 of 2009, the workhorse forward went on to represent the Rabbitohs 155 times - appearing in the 2014 NRL Grand Final and earning selection in the 2015 Prime Minister's XIII team.
"Thanks to all the people I shared time with at Souths and for making my time there unforgettable," said Tyrrell in the Instagram post.
A special moment in Dave's time at Souths came in the 2015 Good Friday clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The fiery Grand Final rematch hung in the balance until Dave Tyrrell crossed in the 58th minute to drag the Rabbitohs back into the contest they'd finally win.
