Congratulations to Rabbitohs players Brett Greinke, Cam Murray and Tyrell Fuimaono who yesterday, completed a Certificate IV in Small Business at the Elite Athlete Business School.

The course ran over a period of six months where athletes from across various clubs attended a class once a week at the NRL Headquarters in Moore Park. The players learnt about how to run a business, marketing and finished off the course with an assessment where they created and presented a business plan. They also had talks from guest speakers including Michele Mattiuzzi from Harvey Norman Business & Education who Greinke believes was a great influence and still keeps in contact with him.

“He taught us about how to market ourselves and our business properly,” said Greinke.

“I’ve kept in contact with him and he gives me some great advice.

“We also heard from Daniella Boutros who runs Buttercreme Lane. She owns the company and through telling us her story, taught us about resilience and perseverance.”

The school is owned by St George Illawarra winger Jason Nightingale and the NRL’s career goal Rebecca Potter and gives players a chance to gain qualifications and study during their playing careers.

Congratulations Graduates!
