REPLAY: Fuimaono's First Rabbitohs Try

It wasn't pretty, but it was still special. Rabbitohs young gun Tyrell Fuimaono bagged his first try in the Red and Green last night (Saturday) at ANZ Stadium.

Trailing by 14 at half time, the Rabbitohs started the second half strongly - building momentum against the Raiders as they looked to overturn the deficit.

It only took until the 49th minute to find the breakthrough try, albeit in an unorthodox manner. Adam Reynolds put in a deft attacking grubber into the Raiders try area which evaded two Rabbitohs chasers and sat up for Tyrell Fuimaono to ground for his first career try.

The Rabbitohs were buoyed by Fuimaono's first try for Souths but wouldn't be able to continue the momentum after a high shot on Adam Reynolds turned the momentum as the play continued and the Raiders attacked our vacant right-edge - resulting in the sin binning of Angus Crichton.

Despite the outcome, it was pleasing to see Tyrell rewarded for his consistent effort and physicality over the first ten games of his Rabbitohs career.
