Sitting at the top of the NRL table for the highest amount of tries across the competition, Alex Johnston is eager to bring home a win when the Rabbitohs take on the North Queensland Cowboys at Barlow Park in Cairns on Sunday.

Obviously we’ve got to win this game 100% so we are going to go out and train pretty well and take that on the weekend,” explained Johnston.

“I know it’s always good to play up there, a lot of support comes out for Souths so I’m keen to play up there, it’s a good atmosphere.”

Reflecting on last week’s game, Johnston says there is still hope to make the finals and the focus is on taking each week as it comes.

“It was disappointing and we really wanted to win that one but we know it’s just one loss and if we know if we keeping winning and win most of our games we still have a chance. It just starts this week up in Cairns.”
