The Rabbitohs travelled up to Cairns today to host a home game against the North Queensland Cowboys with John Sutton describing the trip as a good opportunity for the team to bond.

“We like to travel,” explain Sutton.

“Getting up to Cairns is a great spot and I hope the weather is good but we are there to do a job and I think it’s going to be good to go away with the boys.”

With the Cowboys ranked sixth on the ladder, Sutton describes the oppositions as good competition and that the Rabbitohs focus will be aimed at completing sets while overall the goal is to make it to the finals.

“They’ve got strike all over the park, they are a team that plays for the full 80 minutes and grind out wins so we’ve got to be good completing our sets and having some good digs. We will be prepared and hopefully have a good game.

“That’s what we are aiming for but we are in that situation when we have to concentrate on week by week and this week is the Cowboys.”
