I Can't Wait To Get Back Out There: Johnston
After returning from a five day break over the Bye Round, Alex Johnston can’t wait to get back out on the field and is looking for a win to kick start a run towards the finals.
“We got five days off which was a nice change,” said Johnston.
“We came off a good win and after the Bye as well I think we are all relaxed and can’t wait to get out there.”
The Rabbitohs added four points to the board in the last two weeks giving the team optimism to start and maintain momentum towards the hunt for a finals spot.
“After the last two weeks, I think we can get a run going and get a good run to the finals.
“We are just focused on this week and if we get the win this week it will start a run for us.
The Rabbitohs will take to the field in their Indigenous Jersey for the second time this season with Johnston explaining the significance of the jersey to him and his family.
“For me personally it’s going to be pretty significant. It’s going to be kicking off NAIDOC Week for us so it’s pretty important for me and my family.”
