Angus Crichton explains that there is still a lot of work to do to better their performances on the field but he is confident his side will come together to put in a strong performance on Friday night against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
“Right now we are not where we want to be,” explained Crichton.
“We are not playing the kind of footy that we want to play. We’ve really got a lot to work on.”
“We had a really good week last week over our bye and we are going to have a really good week this week and take a strong side and performance in this week.”
The game will mark Crichton’s first NRL game at Suncorp Stadium up against a team which he describes as one of his favourite teams to come up against.
“I love playing Brisbane. Brisbane and Melbourne are my two favourite teams to play.
“You’ve really got to get yourself up for those games, they’ve got big players, big names, origin players so it’s a bit of a test for myself.
“I’ve never played at Suncorp before so this will be my first grade game at Suncorp so I’m really excited.”
