Rabbitohs Captain Sam Burgess is happy his team are back in the winners circle but says his team have areas to improve on and are feeling good ahead of our Round 11 clash with the Melbourne Storm.
The men in Red and Green put in a strong performance ahead of our trip to Perth, scoring five tries against the Wests Tigers and only conceding one.
Facing off with the Melbourne Storm on Sunday, Burgess has underlined the teams desire to improve - pointing to the longer turnaround as a good opportunity to address areas in their game.
"We're feeling good after coming off a good win. A long turn around has given us some good time to work on things where we can improve," said Burgess.
"Madge threw a bit more experience in the team so it certainly worked and we're looking to build on what we started last week.
"We always seem to have good contests with Melbourne and we're looking forward to it this Sunday."
The English forward is excited to return to Perth with the trip out west offering the team a chance to strengthen the bonds they've been forming during the season.
"We're looking forward to going to Perth," said Burgess.
"It's a great opportunity for us as a team to get over there and spend some time together. We're playing Melbourne which will be a great challenge for us as a Club.
