Bryson Goodwin spoke to the media at Rose Bay on Sunday where the team were treated to a different type of recovery, taking to the water in paddle boards and kayaks.

“It was good to do something different and get out on the water,” said Goodwin.

Looking back on the Friday night clash against the Panthers, despite describing some missed opportunities, Goodwin was happy with the result and praised some of his teammate’s efforts.

“We hung in there well, we probably could have scored, took a few more opportunities but we got the win in the end. We needed a win so we are pretty happy with the way it went and it’s good to see Adam Reynolds play some good football too.

“Cody Walker is amazing at the moment, he is just turning little things into big things and making things happen for us, so I am very happy he is on my side of the field and hopefully he will set me up a couple of times.”

Moving forward to the game ahead, Goodwin is excited for what he describes as a tough battle.

“A tough battle. It’s always hard, they turn up to play so we are really looking forward to it. It usually gets a really big crowd out there so hopefully we will get one again.

“Our forward pack will do their best to contain theirs and our backs will try to do our job and hopefully we will get the result.”
