Each Week Someone Misses Out And That's A Good Thing: Crichton

Taking pride in being part of the Rabbitohs forward pack, Angus Crichton is adamant the team will set a standard tonight in round two against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

The emerging forward is proud of how the team has come together throughout training this week after suffering a first round loss to the Wests Tigers.

Looking to make an impact in his first NRL game of 2017, Crichton has belief his side will be effective by singling out Manly's forwards.

“We know that we can tighten up the middle and be that power playing forward pack,” said Crichton.

“I take pride in being a forward and all of our forwards have come together this week and we are going to set a standard this week.”

Crichton commented on the depth of the Rabbitohs squad and explained the positivity of having a handful of players in each position.

“We’ve got three or four players in each position so there’s always going to be hard decisions made each week. Either way every week someone’s going to be missing out and that’s a good thing not a bad thing so we’ve just got to take confidence out of that.

“We are a very competitive squad and I’ve got full belief in this team and I know this weekend we are going to go out and do our job.”
