While spending time up North in Mackay over the Christmas Break, Zane Musgrove said it was a good opportunity to rest the mind and body before getting back into preseason training.
With only a couple of weeks left until Souths hit the field for their first game, Musgrove describes the positive and competitive vibe around training.
“It’s feeling good,” said Musgrove.
“There’s a good vibe around training, everyone’s training hard and there’s good competition around training for the spot in the first 13 so it’s good and exciting.”
Musgrove is focusing on getting into his peak fitness in time for the first trial against Manly at Campbelltown.
“Just looking towards the trials, the first trial then after that focusing on getting my body right.”
