The Rabbitohs are determined to make the most out of their few remaining training sessions of 2016 with competition for places in Maguire’s top squad motivating the players to push each other forward.
Alex Johnston is looking forward to next year and says the team are hard at work keeping up their fitness and refining their skills at the Simply Energy High Performance Centre in Redfern.
“We’ve been ripping in now for six or so weeks and we’ve only got a week left really then we are on Christmas break so the boys as I’ve said have really ripped in and we can’t wait for next year,” said Johnston.
“A few new boys and everyone’s fitting in really well, we are all getting along and all the new boys are ripping in at training making us push ourselves every day.”
