Rabbitohs Media caught up with John Sutton as the team wraps up week six of preseason training.

Sutton reached an off-field milestone in his time off, tying the knot with his fiancée Stacey and celebrating their marriage with a trip to the U.S..

“I got married in the break which was nice and went on a nice honeymoon to L.A. and Hawaii which was great but now back at training and really enjoying it."

Since returning to the footy field for preseason, Sutton describes training as tough but is impressed with the effort displayed from the younger players.

“The boys have been ripping in, it’s been tough but everyone’s getting through it and it’s been really good,” Sutton said.

“They have been very impressive especially the likes of Cam Murray, he is training really hard and he will be pushing for one of those first grade spots so I am really impressed with the way the boys are going.”
