Sam Burgess believes last week’s performance certainly gave the side some confidence going in to this weekend’s game but says there are still things that need to be worked on.
“I think we’ve been moving in the right direction,” said Burgess.
“We’re trying to improve and finish as well as we can as a team,
“As a player we just get on with our job at training and on the field.”
With the end of the season looming, Burgess wants to enjoy the rest of the season by playing alongside his teammates and representing the club as best he can.
“I want to play some good footy. I want to enjoy the time I’ve got with the players that are playing this season,
“I want to get in the best form that I can, I want to represent the club as the best professional athlete I can,
“It’s about enjoying every day and putting our best foot forward.”
