With focus narrowed in on the game ahead, George Burgess is confident that the team can bounce off last week’s performance when the South Sydney Rabbitohs clash against the New Zealand Warriors on Saturday.
“It was a good team performance against a side that is doing pretty well in the comp up to now.” said Burgess.
“It was definitely better from what we’ve been showing and this week we put a few things right and we've just got to keep building on that performance.”
With four games left in the regular season, Burgess denies the statement that there is little left to play for.
“We play for each other and we play for the pride of the club and the fans,
“We are going out there to play for them every week.”
