Scans have revealed that Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess has no structural damage to his shoulder following last night's game against the Tigers.

Burgess will be monitored throughout the week but is expected to play on Friday night against the Eels at ANZ Stadium.

The news was not so good for Bryson Goodwin who broke his arm during the Tigers match. He will be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
