Adam Reynolds’ final minute, match-winning conversion against Parramatta on Friday night, could have been made a touch easier according to the man who scored the equalising try – Luke Keary.

With time in the Round 10 match fast running out, Keary broke clear of the Eels’ defence and took no chances – immediately racing into the Pirtek Stadium corner to equalise at 20 apiece. Keary told the Rugby League media that he thought that the game had been sealed.

“I thought we were two points in front,” laughed Keary.

“I actually just started running towards the sideline to put it down – made the kick a bit harder for little ‘Ren’ (Reynolds), but I knew he was going to get it over.”
