The South Sydney Rabbitohs are proud to announce that the Club has today (Wednesday) surpassed the 30,000 Member mark for the 2016 season, just days out from season kick-off.
As the boys prepare to take on the Sydney Roosters in their 2016 campaign opener at Allianz Stadium on Sunday at 4pm, the Red and Green Army continues to Stand Above the Rest, with the largest Membership base in the NRL.
Rabbitohs Acting CEO Shannon Donato has thanked Rabbitohs Members everywhere today, but also stressed that there is a long way to go as the Club looks to notch up 38,000 Members for the season.
“Our Members have the reputation of being the most loyal and supportive Membership base in the NRL and again they’re proving that this year,” said Shannon.
“To have surpassed 30,000 Members before Round 1 is a remarkable achievement, as we edge closer to our 2016 target of 38,000 Members.
“I urge all of our supporters who are yet to join or renew their Membership to do so and be part of not only a special Club, but what promises to be a special year.
“I’m as excited as our 30,000-plus Members are about the footy season kicking off on Sunday against the Roosters, and we can all play a part in helping the boys over the line moving forward.”
Congratulations to all our Members who are standing strong and proud in 2016. Your support and continued loyalty is greatly appreciated and acknowledged by everyone at the South Sydney Rabbitohs and we are proud to count all our Members as part of the Rabbitohs Family!
Up the Rabbitohs!
