The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their updated 19-man squad for their Round 1 fixture against the New Zealand Warriors at Optus Stadium this Saturday 10 March at 4pm WST (7pm AEDST).
The match kicks off the Club’s 110-years celebrations in an historic double-header at Perth’s new 60,000-seat stadium.
Rabbitohs Head Coach Anthony Seibold has named halfback Adam Reynolds and interchange forward Cameron Murray to play their first games of 2018, with Dane Gagai, Richie Kennar, Mark Nicholls, Junior Tatola and Adam Doueihi all a chance of making their Rabbitohs NRL debut in this match.
Damien Cook is in line to play his 50th NRL match, having made his first grade debut for the Dragons against the Tigers in Round 6 of the 2013 season.
The Rabbitohs versus Warriors clash is the first game of a momentous double-header to be played at Perth’s new Optus Stadium, with the Bulldogs vs Storm match to follow at 6:05pm WST (9:05pm AEDST).
This is the 10th consecutive year the Rabbitohs have taken a home fixture to Perth and the fourth time the Rabbitohs have played the Warriors in the western capital.
