Maguire's Insights: Round 15, 2017

Ahead of Friday's clash with an Origin affected Gold Coast Titans, Head Coach Michael Maguire is keeping his team focused on their own game instead of the Titans missing Origin players.

Back at home after three weeks away, Maguire is excited to get back to ANZ Stadium and put on a performance worthy of our Members and fans.

"We understand that we need to go above and beyond that now and get that exact same performance and a little bit more against the Titans," said Maguire.

"We're working extremely hard to get the results that they're (the Members and fans) after. We're looking forward to having a really strong performance against the Titans and playing our style of football."

Whilst impressed by his team's effort in their last match against the Brisbane Broncos, Maguire is expecting improvement across the park from his team when they take the field this Friday.

Particularly, the Rabbitohs boss wants his team to be more clinical in attack when they face the Gold Coast Titans.

"There are areas in our attack where we're having opportunities and we've got to make sure we're taking them and this week is about going out and doing that.

"Obviously, defensively we're working hard together to make sure we have that same effort, same scramble and same desire to repel everything that comes at our line.

"Really looking forward to getting out on Friday and getting that result that we know we're after."
