Redfern Oval Conditions of Entry

Conditions of Entry – Rabbitohs Matches, Ironmark High Performance Centre, Redfern Oval

The following conditions of entry will apply to all patrons purchasing a ticket and entering the grounds. These conditions should be read in conjunction with the conditions appearing on your ticket.

Refusal of Entry

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, SSFC Management reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated and / or disorderly;
  • Refuse entry to any unauthorized persons
  • Refuse entry of items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance

General Conditions

  • Patrons should be aware that footballs may be kicked from the playing field into the seating areas during the event. Patrons are advised this can occur at any time.
  • There are no pass outs once a patron has entered the venue
  • The venue will be General Admission access for all ticket holders, the Grandstand will not be reserved seating. Some seating may be restricted viewing from Broadcasting or Venue requirements
  • As a minimum, patrons must be appropriately clothed for a public place with footwear compulsory SSFC Management reserves the right to inspect/search bags brought into or out of Redfern Oval
  • Persons gaining unauthorized access to Redfern Oval and/or the venue’s arena may be liable for prosecution
  • Patrons who cause a disturbance or refuse to comply with the requests made by SSFC staff, security or customer service employees will be evicted from the premises.
  • Pass-outs will not be issued
  • Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken into or out of Redfern Oval by patrons
  • Perishable foods will not be permitted into Redfern Oval
  • Smoking on the premises is only permitted in the designated smoking area (South East corner) and not within seating or enclosed areas
  • Customers wishing to bring personal items into Redfern Oval do so at their own risk. SSFC Management will not be held liable for any personal property
  • Umbrellas may be brought into the ground, but are not permitted to be put up in the Grandstand for the safety and viewing of other patron
  • Picnic chairs and picnic rugs are permitted for patrons to sit on
  • Personal marquees are not permitted
  • Patrons may bring cushions to sit on their allocated seats in the grandstand
  • Due to safety reason, strollers and prams are not permitted in the Oval’s grandstand
  • Unauthorized soliciting and customer surveying is not permitted
  • Customers are not permitted to throw any objects around or within the Redfern Oval seating areas
  • No patrons are to enter the field of play at any time
  • All patrons must exit the ground upon at least 10 minutes after the conclusion of the final match played
  • Professional photographic and video equipment is not permitted in Redfern Oval

Dog Friendly Conditions

  • Dogs permitted on-leash at all times and are not permitted on the field
  • Owners not picking up after their animals will be prohibited from future events 
  • Dogs are not permitted within 10m of the jumping castle area/Kidzone areas
  • Dogs are not permitted in the Grandstand

Ticketing Conditions

  • Rabbitohs Member Cards will not permit entry for this game
  • Children under the age of 12 may enter free of charge
  • Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including on-line auction sites). If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission
  • No refunds or exchanges on any tickets except as required by law as otherwise specified by the seller
  • Lost tickets will not be replaced
  • Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from the Rabbitohs
  • Scalping warning – In addition, the resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislations and may attract criminal penalties

Restricted / Prohibited Items

The following restricted / prohibited items are not permitted at Redfern Oval:

  • Glass or cans
  • Flares / Fireworks
  • Metal flag poles, extendable flag poles and / or flag poles of more than 1.4m in length
  • Whistles, hooters and horns
  • Confetti or shredded paper
  • Not to wear or otherwise display commercial, political or other offensive signage or logos
  • Flags over 1m x 1m
  • Chairs
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Laser pointers
  • Knives and other dangerous weapons
  • Oversized banners and flags which are deemed to cause public nuisance
  • Scooters, roller skates, skateboards and push bikes
  • Other items determined by SSFC Management that may cause injury or public nuisance
  • Large Eskies
  • Perishable foods

Liquor Licensing

All persons entering Redfern Oval are advised that:

  • They are entering non-licensed premises;
  • The only location where a patron may consumer alcohol is the barricaded area around the bar and the upstairs long room;
  • The licensed area has a capacity of 300 max;
  • Those consuming alcohol in the non-licensed area will be removed from the premises;
  • Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter nor will persons in possession of liquor;
  • Checking procedures will apply to prevent persons possessing liquor from entering;
  • Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises;
  • It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor;
  • It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors; - Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police.

Penalties apply under the Liquor Act 2007.
